| Westbay is a partner with Rhode Island Housing in its Lead Hazard Reduction Program. Westbay provides intensive outreach and education services to the communities of West Warwick, Westerly, and Newport, which have high rates of childhood lead poisoning. The program directs owners of lead impacted properties to funding resources, which will help them remediate lead hazards. The Lead Outreach Coordinator also conducts the 3-hour Lead Mitigation Seminar for property owners and the 8-hour Remodeler/Renovator course for homeowners and building contractors.
