The mission of Westbay Community Action is to assist economically
disadvantaged individuals and families achieve and
sustain self-sufficiency.
Westbay provides services for
low and moderate-income residents primarily in Kent
County. You can find these services grouped on this
website under the following headings: Food Services, Housing,
Family Resources, Elder and Family Case Management,
Children’s Services, Business Services.
Westbay works with individuals and families in
need to stabilize their living situation by
connecting them with programs and services here and
in the community. We help clients build economic
self-sufficiency through education, life-skills
training, job placement, and case management.
Westbay works not only with clients but
also with local and state government, the Rhode
Island philanthropic community, religious
institutions, and area businesses and corporations
to plan and support programs, which carry out our
mission.
