The Children’s Center is a nationally accredited
early care and education program-serving children
from age 3 through 12. The Children’s Center
provides care starting at 7:00am, Monday through
Friday, 52 weeks per year. Our educational programs
consist of preschool and full day kindergarten
classes which begin at 9:30am daily. Extended day
programs are available for all children until 5:30pm
daily. The Children’s Center operates with dual
licenses from RI Department for Children, Youth and
Families and RI Department of Education. The school
is also accredited by The National Association for
the Education of Young Children and has been
accredited since August 2000.
The Children’s Center is a fully inclusive early
learning program serving a number of children with
developmental, educational, emotional and physical
needs. In partnering with the local school
department, children enrolled with defined learning
delays, receive expert instruction directly onsite
by school department personnel.
